The official languages at EMF-ELF-2011 will be French and English. Simultaneous translation will be provided in both languages.

All Papers (oral & poster) should be uploaded on : https://www.easychair.org/account/signin.cgi?conf=emfelf2011 in English by January 15th 2011. This deadline is to be strictly observed, particularly to make sure that the CD ROM of the Set of Papers will be issued and distributed to the attendees in due time at the beginning of the Colloquium. It is recommended to use the template available here. Papers lenght should be between 6 and 10 pages max.

Instructions to authors
The poster session is your opportunity to present your work directly to other delegates and to discuss it with them. It is a particularly useful format for small group discussion and debate.
The official language for the posters is English.
The poster session will take place in the coffee break area in “Hall d’Honneur & President / Delage Salons”. The posters are accessible throughout the conference, especially during breaks (coffee breaks and lunches). Moreover, dedicated poster sessions have been placed in the technical program.
The presence of the author(s) in front of his (their) poster is mandatory during the relevant poster session.
Each poster presentation will be allocated a board in the posters area according to their poster number.
Try to attract the registrants to your stand. Unless they come to it, you cannot expect to have a discussion with them. The display should therefore be visually appealing and should contain the essence of your paper in a form that is easy to understand.
Your display should consist chiefly of keywords, diagrams, photographs, etc. Color photographs are particularly attractive in a poster display. Diagrams and graphs should have clear captions. All lettering should be easy to read : for example, choose a size of 15 pts for normal text. Handwritten text or diagrams are not recommended. All graphs and diagrams should be drawn with thick lines (preferably 1mm or more in width). Use color to emphasize important features.
It shall be misadvised to simply defer on your poster the text of a written article; in this case the text shall be reorganized and synthesized.
The poster display is important. You should clearly display the following information on your poster board:
• The title and authors of the paper.
• Your usual contact details (e.g. an Email address) to allow delegates to follow up any discussion.
The information on your poster should be simple, brief and intelligible even in the absence of the author(s). The content should be divided into five sections, but you can distribute this sections freely on your page :
• The TITLE has to include the authors’ names and affiliation(s).
• The ABSTRACT should list the pertinent results and conclusions.
• The INTRODUCTION should state the purpose of the study in the relation to previous work in the field.
• The RESULTS should indicate the most important findings.
• The DISCUSSION should give the interpretation and the significance of the results.
The posters must be legible from a distance of 2 meters.
Therefore, the following letter sizes and general recommendations are suggested :
Headings such as INTRODUCTION, DESCRIPTION, etc. should measure 2 cm. high.
Text 0.5 -1 cm.
Each figure or table should have a simple legend.
Information typed in small characters is not recommended.
Please use the banner below on the top of your poster. Don't hesitate to contact us for providing a image-format file or templates.
Display board:
One board, approx. 1.00 m wide x 2.00 m high, will be assigned for each poster. The standard format of a poster is: A0 or 80 cm x 120 cm (vertical format).
Precise and Definitive dimensions will be precised in a next future
Each poster will have an identification number corresponding to the one in the program. It is related to a specific position in the poster session rooms and features.
If needed, a stand (table) and an electrical outlet will be provided in your poster area, the stand could sustain for example your laptop.
